“We are excited to announce our reopening plans and look forward to once again opening our facility to the community. On behalf of the board and staff we want to thank the community for their patience as we developed our reopening plan” said Shannon MacInnis.

“Getting back to business has always been our focus but we did not want reopen until we could do it right and in a safe manner that protects all our users and staff.  We have worked with key stakeholders and monitored how the YMCA has been operating and we are confident our new procedures will ensure a safe environment for everyone to enjoy”.  Said Greg Smith, COO of the Wellness Centre.  “Things will definitely be different; everyone will have to be patient as we work through what the new normal looks like.  We believe the changes we have implemented are important and won’t deter our users from being active and doing what they love to do”. During this time, hours of operation and ice rentals will be limited.  To enquire about booking ice please contact Chad McDavid at
