The YMCA is actually a tenant of the Wellness Centre. The YMCA manages the pool, the daycare, the gymnasium and all of the fitness programs independently from the Wellness Centre.

Yes! We have a Lost & Found log at our Guest Service Centre/Cafe Counter. The YMCA also keeps record of any lost items turned to their desk.

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer drop-in pick-up hockey. Please see "Programs" for current organized offerings.

At this time we do not offer on-site skate sharpening or skate rentals

The Guest Services Counter/Cafe is open Tuesday-Sunday, from 11am-7pm* 

*The Cafe often remains open later for Junior A games, tournaments, special events, etc. The Cafe may close under certain circumstances - feel free to call ahead, 902-755-8870 ext 321, to confirm if open.

Pets are not permitted in the facility, Service Animals only 

Helmets are mandatory for all skaters under 18 years of age. For those 18 and over, helmets are very strongly recommended. Not wearing a helmet is at your own discretion and risk.

We are very fortunate to have a Visitor Information Centre located in our atrium! The staff & volunteers from Coastal NS would be happy to help you make plans in PC! Or visit their website: Coastal NS

Pictou County Transit has a stop right out front of PCWC! This shuttle, operating on a 1-hour loop, has multiple stops around the County - find out more here: PC Transit

Booking the right room for your event depends on two things: how many guests will be attending and what set-up style you choose for the room. Refer to our specs/rate card for more information on capacity for each conference room - you can request this information when booking your event or here on our website under "Community Rooms" in the "Meeting Rooms" tab

Yes! The set-up style of the room is included with the rental price. Whether you want chairs only in a theatre style, classroom tables, a banquet set-up, etc. we will create a floor plan that works for you.

We have linens available for a minimal laundering fee, per table - you can request these be added to your quote when booking

We have catering services available in-house from Intermissions Cafe & Bakery; our Events team can provide you a menu or you can find one here on our website under the "Community Rooms" page, in the "Meeting Rooms" tab. You are permitted to hire an approved, outside caterer as well. Home made food & beverage is not permitted. Absolutely no alcohol is permitted to be brought inside the facility, unless you have arranged for a Special Events permit and have coordinated with the Events team.

The 7 Dimensions of Wellness are Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Social, Spiritual, Environmental & Occupational. You may see different versions of the 7 dimensions, but the intention remains the same: total wellness relies on continued development and growth in all dimensions of ones self.
